    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Daycare room: spray bottle with bleach water was incorrectly labeled. Corrected onsite.OSC room: spray bottle with a blue solution was not labeled. Outstanding.Ensure all chemicals are labeled with their contents.

    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • First aid kit is incomplete. Please see attached list of supplies required for a complete first aid kit. (check appendix H).
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • There was a bucket of bleach disinfectant on each side of the classroom, both measured at 0 ppm chlorine and were within reach of children. Operator was asked to move the buckets out of the reach of children and ensure the concentration is at least 100 ppm chlorine if the solutions are used for disinfecting surfaces in the daycare.

    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Front door carpets and two round carpets (yellow and orange at the after-school care section) were not properly flattened on the floor and will curl up with movements. This can be a trip and fall hazard for the kids. I will recommend using more flattened and sturdy carpet.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • First aid kits had expired antiseptic wipes. Please update the kits with the health and safety guidelines (check appendix H).
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • Buckets used to store toys were dusty. Please always clean and disinfect the bulk containers used for storing toys weekly.
