      • *Unwrapped Red Rose tea bags were observed stored in their original box without adequate protection from contamination. Revise the storage practice. Unwrapped tea bags must be kept in a clean container with a secure lid to prevent contamination. Ensure utensils are provided to allow staff/family to handle tea bags without direct hand contact.*Plastic food wrap was being used to close an opened bag of cereal. Ensure open food items are properly stored in containers with lids.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • *Food inserts on the steam table were observed to be stacked on top of each other. Change storage practice, ensure each insert is inside the steam table to ensure hot foods are kept at 60C or higher. Discussed onsite and staff rearranged inserts.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • *The faucet at the hand sink was leaking and loose. Repair and resecure and ensure hand sink in good repair.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • *The cupboard storing condiments and teas bags were disorganized and debris found in condiment storage containers. Clean and reorganize area.

      • *Sanitizer bottle was observed to not be labeled. Ensure approved food surface sanitizer is labeled to show its' contents.
    • 17. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Critical)?
      • *Servery cupboard doors were observed to not be locked. Chemicals were observed to be stored in the cupboard. This was immediately corrected.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • *Exposed wooden areas were observed in the cupboard (bottom shelf appears to be in disrepair). Ensure all areas are easily cleanable and impervious to moisture.
