     • Barber brushes were being reprocessed with Clipperside. Clipperside is a low-level disinfectant intended for smooth, non-porous surfaces and does not meet the reprocessing requirements for porous equipment such as barber brushes.- Remove all visible hair and debris from barber brushes and then reprocess using an alcohol solution (60-70% isopropyl alcohol) to reduce the number of microorganisms and ensure barber brushes are visible clean and maintained in a sanitary condition prior to use.
   • 33. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Non-Critical)?
     • Visible scale buildup was observed within the facial steamer water reservoir due to the use of tap water. Tap water causes scale buildup, which may facilitate biofilm and microbial growth within the steamer, increasing the risk of biological contamination.- Ensure the facial steamer is visibly clean and regularly maintained to prevent scale buildup. Water reservoir should be emptied, cleaned, and dried as required to minimize scale build-up, and reduce the potential for biofilm and microbial growth.- The use of distilled water is recommended to help reduce scale build-up.
