    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Child safety locks were not installed on the cupboards and refrigerators located under the counters in the Infant A and Infant B rooms.Please install child safety locks.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • The child safety clips on a highchair located in the infant room was observed to be broken, effecting its ability to effectively secure the child.Please repair the clip or replace the entire highchair.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • The first aid kit located in the infant room were missing tweezers, CPR masks, and alcohol swabs. Please ensure all first aid kids are fully equipped with alcohol swabs within their expiry date, tweezers and CPR masks.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Cloth couches throughout the facility were observed without removable, launderable covers.Please ensure the couches are equipped with a cover that can be removed for regular cleaning.2) The filter of the air purifier located in the Preschool Room was observed to be covered in dust.Please replace the filter.3) Chipped paint was observed on the diaper changing station, exposing raw wood.Please refinish or replace the diaper changing station to ensure it is smooth, easily cleanable, and impervious to contaminants.4) Play mats in the Pre K 3b room were observed to be peeling and in disrepair, making them difficult to clean and sanitize.Please remove and replace the play mats with ones that have smooth, impervious, and easily cleanable surfaces.

      • Infant room, 4yrs old room: Cubies were not secured. - Secure to prevent falling onto children. 4yrs old room: Electrical cords were hanging from a shelf. - Secure to prevent entanglement hazard. 3A room: An electrical outlet was detaching.- It was blocked immediately. - RepairInfant room: Cupboards under the sinks are only taped, they do not have child safety locks.- Provide child proof locks.

      • Infant room: Some milk bottles were not labeled with a child's name.- Label all milk bottles to prevent misuse.

      • Preschool 3A room: Walls by the washroom and in the washroom were damaged. Baseboard was damaged by a sink.- Repair so walls are easy to clean. Orange room: A play couch was damaged and mended with tape. - Repair or replaceOrange room: Paper towel dispenser was damaged in the washroom. - Repair or replace

      • Infant room: debris accumulation on big toys. - Clean and disinfect toys at least weekly or more often if necessary.4 yrs old room: Dolls with soft bodies were dirty. - Laundry regularly.

      • There were gaps between different flooring in P2A room. - Ensure that flooring is in good repair and easy to clean.

      • No safety straps at 2 change tables (PB and IB) - Provide safety traps to prevent accidents. No liner was used under children during diapering in PB and P3A. - Provide liner under children during diapering.

      • Required first aid kits were incomplete. - Ensure that all required first aid kits are fully stocked.

      • 1. Surface on a change table in Infant 2 was damaged. -Repair so the surface is moisture resistant and easy to clean. 2. One bleach spray bottle was not working in PB. - Repair or replace. 3. Surface on a ponywall between washrooms (PB and IB) was damaged. - Repair so the surface is smooth and easy to clean. 4. Surface on a ponywall in P3A was damaged. - Repair so the surface is smooth and easy to clean. 5. Couch was stained in P2A. - Clean the couch. Provide a cover. 6. Some backs of shelves were absorbent as the shelves were moved. - Paint/varnish the shelves so they are moisture resistant and easy to clean. 7. OOSC: Edges of a carpet were lifting and creating tripping hazard. - Repair8. OOSC: Foam pillows did not have covers that could be laundered or wiped. - Provide
