      • No labels were provided on several food items packaged and repackaged onsite like ravioli, crepes pumpkin seeds, halwa, dry/cut orange etc.Requirement:Provide labels on packaged food to indicate - name of the product, - date of packaging/repackaging- packaged by/repackaged by (business name, address)- ingredients list for the food prepared and packaged onsite- storage conditions (keep refrigerated/keep frozen).

      • -Temperature of white refrigerator located in back prep area was 9C- No thermometer was provided in this refrigerator.Requirement:-Adjust the temperature of the refrigerator to 4C or less.-Provide thermometer.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • No pest control records were maintained.Requirement:Maintain pest control records on monthly basis.AHS pest control check list emailed to the operator to self-manage the pest control.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Floor in back storage area was lined with a rug runner making surface rough trapping dirt.Requirement:All surfaces must be smooth, washable and non-absorbent.Remove rug runner from the floor.

    • 02. Is all food in this facility from an approved source and/or properly labelled?
      • Dumplings were repackaged on site and labels provided on packaged products were missing information, located in upright freezer in sale area.Requirement: Labels on the re-packaged items must contain info to indicate name of the product, business name and contact number of repackaging facility, repackaging date, storage conditions (keep frozen/keep refrigerated).
    • 07. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Cabbage rolls were stored along with raw meat in one chest freezer located in sale area.Requirement:Store raw meat apart from any other food to prevent cross contamination.
    • 14. Does the facility have an adequate supply of potable hot and cold running water and is the water sampled at required intervals?
      • No hot water supply was available at the plumbing fixtures in the facility as hot water tank was removed.Requirement:Hot water supply must be available all the time at the plumbing fixtures.-Install a hot water tank /system of sufficient volume.-Reinstate the hot water supply at all plumbing fixtures.
