    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • The water in the spray bottle was labelled "bleach sanitizer". Spray bottles were not labeling correctly. Please relabel all spray bottles.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • No sanitizer test strips. Provide sanitizer test strips and test daily.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • 1) Mouse problem noted in the facility. Mouse droppings were found inside the cupboards, underneath small machines and in the back storage area. Two mice caught in the traps. Increase pest control to weekly until the mouse problem is addressed.2) Holes are noted on the cupboards and walls. Fix the holes. 3) No pest report for December 2023. Provide pest reports.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Three compartment sink waste pipe was draining into an open floor drain. Sewer smell by the sink. Fix waste pipe to meet City of Calgary pluming code.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Ice cream was brought in after approval. Serving 8 ice cream flavors, no dipper well and only one scoop. October 7, 2022 inspection:Only three ice cream scoops available.Install a dipper well or provide one scoop per flavor. Please have 8 scoops. Store the scoop inside the freezer until the end of the day after use. Wash, rinse and sanitize at the end of the day.

      • 1) Mouse droppings were found throughout the facility- cupboards, back storage area, front area and underneath machines by the coffee station. 2) Soil was noted in the three compartment sink wells. clean the sinks.
