      • Food (flour) stored on the floor in the re-packaging room.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Small amount of mouse droppings are observed in the delivery storage area (back corner) and on pallets.
    • 26. Have plans for construction or alteration of this facility been submitted for approval?
      • Facility is re-packaging foods in a room without a handwashing sink. Facility is required to stop re-packaging foods in this room immediately. Facility can re-package foods in the kitchen or install a handwashing station in this room. A floor plan must be submitted for AHS approval prior to installing a new handwash station. Staff indicated they are no longer using this room to re-package.

      • Multiple food is stored on the floor (onions, flour). Ensure all food is stored at least 6" off the floor.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Small amount of mouse droppings are observed in the delivery storage area (back corner) and on pallets.

      • Sanitizer solution not prepared - a 100 ppm chlorine solution was prepared during the inspection. Ensure a sanitizer solution is prepared at all times of food preparation.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Small containers of pork thawing at room temperature (still frozen). Containers of pork were moved into the cooler.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Mouse droppings noted in the back storage area. Please clean up safely.

      • Gap of light shining under rear door and under overhead garage door. Manager indicated they are getting a quote to replace the entire overhead garage door. Please repair/replace weatherstripping so there is no gap of light shining under.
