    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Chemical test strips expired in 2022/2023. Please ensure new test strips are purchased immediately to confirm that appropriate sanitizing and disinfecting is occurring.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The handsink in the kitchen did not have papertowel available for hand-drying, only tissues, which are not appropriate for use. Please ensure paper towels or an air dryer are available for staff use.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • 1. The drawers inside the fridge had sauce and crumbs in them, and the outside of the fridge (especially the handles) were dirty. Please ensure the fridge is cleaned. 2. The plastic was left on the sides of the stove and fridge, and crumbs/debris were accumulated there. Please ensure plastic is removed so the stove and fridge can be cleaned appropriately. 3. The utensils next to the stove were dirty. Please ensure utensils are cleaned.4. The mat under the utensils that says "Life is Full of Possibilities" is cracking and sticky underneath. Please dispose of mat as it can no longer be cleaned appropriately.

      • A broken strainer was found with the mesh falling apart. This was no longer in good repair and posed a risk of pieces falling in food and being ingested. The strainer was thrown away while on site.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • 1. The handsink was dirty. Please ensure handsink is kept clean.2. The floor was dirty, especially under the stove and the fridge. Please ensure the floor is cleaned regularly, and devise a schedule to ensure hard to clean areas are not missed.

    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • The spray bottle containing bleach sanitizer was broken. Upon request, the sanitizer was transferred to a new spray bottle and was measured at 100ppm chlorine. Please ensure the sanitizer solution is always in a functioning spray bottle.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The handwashing sink is out of paper towel. Please restock the dispenser.
