- The cover for the sandwich prep cooler in the rear kitchen was open. No customer orders were being prepared at the time. Requested staff to close the lid to maintain temperature and protect food products from contamination during times where there is no food preparation.
- 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
- The handles for two different scoops were observed to be touching the dry goods in two of the dry ingredient containers. Requested staff wash, rinse, and sanitize the scoops and ensure scoops are stored either upright or outside of the container to prevent contamination with dry ingredient food product.
