    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation:
      • The "Alkaline" dispensing tap has a piece of towel wrapped around the pipe and water constantly drips from the tap. Cloth towels will allow bacteria and mold to grow on it. Constantly dripping water will create a damp environment that will attract pests (flys, cockroaches, rodents).
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Remore the piece of towel and repair or place the tap so it doesn't constantly drip.
      • **Correction date: Oct. 1/19**
      • Violation Score: 3

    • 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation:
      • The door guard/sweep at the base of the loading door is falling off in areas and is creating an opening that could allow pests (rodents) in.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Install new door guard/sweep along the base of the loading door to exclude pests.

      • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation:
      • The first and second dispensing taps, in the front retail area, constantly drip and/or leak and there is piece of cloth being used around the pipe. Cloth is not acceptable as it will remain damp and encourage the growth of bacteria and mold. The constantly dripping/leaking taps will create a constant moist environment for mold and mildew to develop.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Repair or replace the leaking and/or dripping taps, and remove the cloth so that the taps can fully shut off water and the materials used are food grade, durable, washable, sealed, and non-absorbant.
      • **Correction date: Apr. 15/19**
      • Violation Score: 3
      • 312 - Items not required for food premises operation being stored on the premises [s. 18]
      • Observation:
      • The ozone/treatment room is cluttered with parts, piping and other items that do not directly require the system to work. The cluttered area creates a space that is difficult to clean as well.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Remove all items that do not require to be stored in the ozone/treatement room. All unnecessary items shall be discarded or removed from the premises, or stored in the appropriate area.

      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Paint all unsealed drywall and wood with a light colored paint in the filling area and upstairs storage area, so all surfaces are sealed, impervious to water and cleanable.
