- No written procedure as to when skin is cleaned and/or antiseptic applied prior to a service. Develop written procedure.No written procedure for decontamination of a sink when used for both equipment cleaning and handwashing. Develop written procedure.
- 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
- Means of drying hands not present at the sink in the hallway used for both equipment cleaning and handwashing. Provide paper towel in a dispenser or single-use cloths.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- There were no test strips present for checking the concentration of the high level disinfectant. Obtain testing strips.The log used to indicate when the high level disinfectant is changed does not include testing results (ran out of testing strips). Need to record the result each time the disinfectant is tested and are to test each day that it is re-used.

- Written procedure posted for cleaning and disinfecting equipment does not state to dry the tools after cleaning (before putting into the disinfectant). Please update the procedure.Are using refills for the Preempt wipes. When using a refill, please update the expiry date on the plastic container. And when refilling smaller bottles of the liquid product, please ensure the bottle is cleaned and dried before refilling and also update the expiry date with the one on the original bottle.
