    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. A long, dangling wire was noted in the kindergarten 2 classroom.-Please secure the wire using zip ties or reposition it out of children’s reach to prevent the risk of entanglement.2. Push pins and exposed staple pins were observed on classroom and corridor walls.-Please cover exposed staple pins with adhesive tape and replace push pins with appropriate protective materials for securing items to walls. This will help prevent potential injury and limit children’s access to hazardous materials.

      • 1. Some children water bottles were noted without nametags.-Please ensure all water bottles are labeled with their names to prevent misuse or mix-up.2. Bleach bottles were not labeled with chemical name.-Please label all chemical bottles with appropriate chemical names and if applicable chemical concentration to prevent misuse.

      • Facility was disinfecting with 50ppm chlorine solution. Ensure a 1000ppm chlorine solution is used to adequate disinfect surfaces and toys. Ensure this is rinsed after use to prevent chemical cross contamination.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Facility has not removed soft surface toys, books and other items that are not easily disinfectable. Ensure all items that cannot be disinfected are removed.
