    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The water temperature at the furthest handwashing sink from the entrance in the men's washroom was measured at 12.3 degrees Celsius with a probe thermometer. Ensure water is provided at a comfortable temperature to encourage handwashing. The operator adjusted the mixing valve during the inspection to provide water at an adequate temperature.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • In the Frog Room, several single-use gloves were observed to be sitting in a plastic drawer which leaves the gloves more prone to contamination. Ensure all single-use gloves are stored in a clean and sanitary manner such as by keeping them in the manufacturer's box. The operator informed that moving forward, they would adjust the procedure to use gloves from the box.

    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Wooden toys storage bin observed in Frog room was broken and had sharp edges. It was removed during the inspection.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Some antiseptic wipes observed in Alligator room were expired. They were discarded during the inspection (acceptable antiseptic wipes were available).
    • 30. Are workers washing hands when appropriate and/or in a proper manner?
      • Hand sanitizers observed in Alligator room expired in 2022. They were discarded during the inspection.
