    • CI1.7 - Is the facility operating legally under the Act?
      • Observation(s): It was alleged that the operator is caring for more than two children at one time. During inspection of the home a playpen, various toys, children's clothes and two high chairs were in the operators home. The operator confirmed they do not have their own children and no children were observed in care at the time of inspection. It was verbally disclosed by the operator that they have been caring for more than two children at one time on a regular basis. Two children were expected to arrive at noon for care. One other child was scheduled for care but the parent had notified the operator that they would not be there today. Based on confirmation from the operator the allegation of operating an unlawful unlicensed facility is substantiated.
      • CI1.7A - A person must not operate or hold themselves out as operating a community care facility. Act( 5 )(a)
      • CI1.7B - A person must not provide or hold themselves out as providing care in a community care facility. Act( 5 )(b)
      • CI1.7C - A person must not accommodate or hold themselves out as accommodating a person who requires care in a community care facility. Act( 5 )(c)
