      • The water temperature in the junior toddler washroom handsink and diapering handwash sink was too low and measured 27°C and 25°C respectively. Adjust the temperature such that it is between 35°C and 43°C to facilitate proper handwashing.

      • A reusable cloth was observed to be used for disinfecting the diapering surface and area. The cloth was removed and replaced with single use paper towels.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The water temperature in the junior toddler washroom handsink and diapering handwash sink was too low and measured 27°C and 25°C respectively. Adjust the temperature such that it is between 35°C and 43°C to facilitate proper handwashing.

      • The water temperature in the senior toddler washroom sink was too high and measured to be 52°C. The water temperature was adjusted lower to 44°C to prevent scalding. The water temperature for the handsink located in preschool room and the diapering handsink located in the infant room was too low. They measured 28°C and 23°C. The water temperature was adjusted higher to 42°C and 34°C.

      • The bedding/lining of the crib mattresses were observed to be touching while in storage. The bedding/lining was immediately removed upon request. Ensure all bedding/lining is separated even while in storage.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • All childcare rooms have a two-compartment sink with only one faucet. Please note that the diapering sink must have its own faucet. This faucet must not be shared for any other purposes. Written fecal accident procedures were not observed.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. A washroom countertop located in the preschool was not ed to be damaged. Please repair the countertop.2. A hole was noted on the wall of preschool washroom. A duct tape was used to cover this hole. Please repair the hole.3. All microwave stands were not sturdy.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • All soap and paper towel dispensers were noted to be empty at the time of inspection.The operator stocked all hand washing sinks during the inspection. The operator was further advised to ensure that all hand washing sinks are properly stocked at all times.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • An appropriate first-aid kit was not observed. Please ensure that an appropriate first-aid kit is available in the facility.
    • 15. Is laundry being properly handled in a suitable manner?
      • Laundry services are located inside the kitchen area with a pocket door. Please ensure to follow laundry procedure and not perform laundry while food is being prepared and dishwashing is occurring.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The water temperature of water in preschool was noted to be at 51.3 degrees C. The operator decreased the water temperature during the inspection.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • 1. Hooks in the infant room were noted to be 8 inches apart. Hooks at all other areas were not 12 inches apart. 2. A shoe rack to store clients' shoes was not observed.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • A weather strip was noted to be damaged on facility's back door. Please replace the damaged weather strip.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Bathing provisions were not observed for clients under 19 months.
