      • 1. No sanitizer solution was prepared for use at the time of inspection.2. Used wet cleaning cloths were not being stored in a sanitizer solution. Cleaning cloths were observed on food preparation counters.100ppm chlorine sanitizer solution was prepared during inspection and cleaning cloths stored in the solution.

      • 1. A bowl of minced meat, buckets of sauce and pasta were left open in the walk-in cooler. The operator covered the food items during inspection.2. A spoon was placed inside a bowl of minced meat in the walk-in cooler with the handle touching the meat. The spoon was removed during inspection. Ensure portioning spoons are not stored inside food items to prevent contamination. Food items should also be covered during storage.

      • No approved sanitizer was available at the facility at the time of inspection. The operator was instructed to purchase a sanitizer solution immediately. Operator decided to temporarily close the facility so he can obtain a bottle of unscented bleach.

      • Buckets of ground meat and chopped vegetables were left open in the walk-in cooler. The operator covered the buckets during inspection. Please ensure food at the facility are always covered during storage to prevent contamination.

      • Boxes of canned pineapples and gallons of oils were stored on the floor at the back area.Please move the boxes above the floor and ensure food items are stored at least 6-inches above the floor.

Please repair/replace the damaged door.Aug 23, 2024: Some of the prep cooler doors still had damaged inner insulation covers held with tape. Please remove the tapes and repair the doors so they are smooth and easy to clean.

      • There are two deep freezers which lids are damaged. Schedule replacement or repair of deep freezers. Aug 23, 2024: Two deep freezers at the back still had damaged lids. Note that this is an on-going violation and must be corrected. Please repair or replace the freezers.

      • There was an evidence of mice infestation. Some mice droppings were observed on the floor corners at the back and side storage areas and behind freezers and coolers.Use an approved sanitizer to clean and dispose all mice droppings observed in the food establishment. Identify all potential points of entry (holes/cracks/crevices) on walls / floor /ceiling in the entire food premise and have them closed/sealed to prevent pest entrance into the food premise. Remove materials from the food premise that created harborages sites for mice to thrive. All foods must be stored in pest proof containers with protective covers to prevent contamination. Consult with a licensed Pest Control Company to implement and maintain an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program within the facility to eliminate the pest infestation.
