    • F2.1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?
      • Observation(s): Quat test strips are required for measuring the strength of the sanitizer mix. EHO provided a QT 10 strip for use until supplied for the remainder of the event.
    • F2.3 Are food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment washed and sanitized in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
      • Observation(s): The Quat used for sanitizing is a concentrated product, The concentration level in the spray bottle was excessive. The EHO helped to dilute the mixture in the spray bottle several times to obtain the correct strength by using QT 10 test strips. Reminder: *Carefully read the directions for dilution. Some spray bottles are less than 1 litre, so less concentrate is required. *Monitor with quat test strips, The product appears to be a 2 chain quaternary ammonium product.
      • F2.3D Sanitizer solution must be available and kept at the correct levels for adequate sanitizing action.
