    • 04. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool premises (Non-Critical)?
      • Copy of HVAC report provided from winter servicing. No concerns noted with the HVAC by the technician. The disinfectant byproduct smell has dissipated now that additional dilution of the whirlpool is occurring. Continue to monitor and take appropriate action as required.

      • Noted a sharp disinfection by product odor in the pool common area upon entry. Noted that the water slide was operation and pool was in use by approximately 6 guests. Whirlpool jets were also operational upon initial entry to the pool area. GM stated that HVAC system was checked at the beginning of winter by a service technician. Provide a copy of the report for review. Investigate cause of disinfection byproduct buildup and discuss with a pool service company options to help mitigate and reduce accumulation.

      • The manager confirmed that contract has been procured for installation of pool doors (document received).Please update the said office after installations are complete.

      • 1)Gaps were noted through the emergency exit door in the pool area due to extensive corrosion on the bottom of the door.2)The supporting structure of the water slide was showing evidence of rust and corrosion.Facility manager indicated that they are already in contact with contractors for door replacement and painting of slide (metal frame). Make sure that exit door is replaced before the winters to ensure the temperature is maintained in the pool area and so the door does not ice up preventing an emergency exit.
