    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The flow switch on the chemical controller was stuck and not recognizing no flow when the valves to the flow cell was isolated. Manager cleaned the system onsite and got the flow switch working. Ensure this is checked routinely in order to ensure proper pool controller safety and operation.

    • 05. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • The chemical records over the last week show that after the whirlpool was drained on Feb 13, 2026 the combined chlorine in the whirlpool was found to be double the free chlorine concentration. No evidence of treatment or actions to bring the combined chlorine down. Review chemical records with pool service provider to determine what options are available to reduce combined chlorine in the whirlpool.
    • 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
      • Pool test kit over range used by the facility is 8 ppm. Multiple test results documented list OR for free and total chlorine tests. If test kit is over range, then a dilution test must be conducted to confirm the actual chlorine values in the pool basin tested. Contact your pool service provider to discuss options to ensure chemical test results can be obtained and documented.

      • Upon review of chemical test records it was noted that after an out-of-range test was found chemical addition was documented however a follow up chemical test was not performed. Ensure after chemical dose for chlorine or pH is performed that a follow up test is done to ensure the correct chemical concentration is achieved.

      • The microbiological water sample result collected on 01/08/2025 [25EN-213E00178] was unsatisfactory: Total Coliform present. Take all necessary action to ensure microbiologically safe water. Submit a new microbiological water sample at your earliest convenience once the water chemistry is balanced.

      • Whirlpool basin was confirmed to be close for repair.Document indicating the proposed repair plan of whirlpool basin was received.

      • The pH of the whirlpool was measured at 6.52.Make sure to check the chemical controllers for feed, and ensure that pH is maintained between 6.8 to 7.6.

      • Whirlpool basin liner was showing signs of disrepair at the bottom of the whirlpool.Discussed with operators the plans for repairs of whirlpool basin.
