      • Teddy's washroom: Two separate diapering safety belts were tied together with a knot to create an extension. This is not considered a safe practice and is not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for use.*Please ensure that an appropriately sized safety belt is used or purchase a manufacturer‑approved extender designed specifically for use with the safety belt.

      • - Cub's napping room: Baseboard appeared to be peeling from the wall.*Repair/replace baseboard to ensure it is smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable.

      • - Baby's room leather seating block corners were ripped.*Replace/ repair the leather block to ensure it is smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable.

      • - Cubs Room (children aged 2.0 to 3.6 years): The staff storage closet was not locked. Open garbage cans and shoes were stored on the bottom shelves, making them easily accessible to children.*Staff removed the garbage can and shoes from the bottom shelves during the inspection.

      • Teddy's room- cabinet below handsink had bleach bottle stored inside, door was not childproofed. Corrected onsite- chemical supply removed from cabinet and stored at upper cabinet unaccessible for children
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Bears room- first aid kit inside travel bag did not contain CPR barrier device.
