      • Several unlabeled spray bottles observed and/or the contents didn't match the label. Ensure all spray bottles are labeled with their correct contents.

      • White fridge requires a thermometer.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Fruit flies observed in the bar and bathrooms.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Fume hood canopy sticker indicates that the canopy was due for cleaning in February 2024. Please schedule this or forward the new sticker/invoice if this has already been completed.

      • Deeper cleaning required in kitchen and bar area including floors along walls, removing empty bottles, crates need cleaning in the bar.

    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Previous year's permit was posted on display (expired September 30, 2023). CDI: Staff were able to locate the new permit at the time of inspection and stated it would be printed off and posted.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • 2023-10-06Staff noted that the duct tape had been removed from the fridge; however, masking tape was not in place to repair a different storage compartment. Tape is not a cleanable material. The gasket and door shelving on the indicated fridge was also in disrepair. Action required: repair or replace the indicated refrigerator. If replacing, please consider purchasing a refrigerator on wheels to aid in cleaning under and around equipment.A pair of scissors in the kitchen were repaired with tape. Action required: replace broken scissors. Discontinue using tape to repair kitchen equipment. 2023-06-26Duct tape was observed on the rack in the middle standing cooler.

      • 2023-10-06Sanitation continues to be unsatisfactory. Please ensure your exhaust system is working properly - observed significant dust/grease on surfaces. Pictures of problematic areas were taken and will be provided with the report. The following was noted:1. The walls and ceiling require further cleaning.2. The Fume canopy filters - satisfactory.3. The floors below the kitchen equipment and other hard-to-reach areas require further cleaning.4. The standing fan in the kitchen has been removed.5.The body and sides of the standing coolers, stoves and dishwasher require further cleaning.6. The shelves throughout the facility require further cleaning.7. The hand sink, paper towel, sanitizer and soap dispensers require further cleaning.8. The bulk storage containers were satisfactory.9. Organization of standing shelves were satisfactory.2023-06-26The following items/areas require cleaning:1. The walls and ceiling through the facility.2. The Fume canopy filters.3.       • There were no test strips available for monitoring the sanitizer concentration of the bar dishwasher.

      • There were no pest control records available on site. Please send a copy of your recent pest control record.

      • Several missing ceiling tiles were observed in the kitchen. Please have these tiles replaced.
