      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front hand sink was clogged and unavailable for handwashing at the beginning of the inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff unclogged the sink during the inspection. Please do not dump any food/beverages into the handsink to prevent clogging.

      • Observation: Minor food debris build up noted in hard to reach areas.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwashing station located near the donut prep station did not have paper towel in the paper towel dispenser at the start of the inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff replenished the paper towel dispenser with paper towel during the inspection. Handwashing station is now equipped with hot and cold running water, soap and paper towel.

    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Donuts and other baked goods stored on shelves were not protected from contamination. Observed 10+ flies and multiple sticky traps around the facility.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff covered all open donuts and baked foods in the back food prep area. Due to the current pest concerns, ensure that all open food products are thoroughly covered to ensure they are protected from contamination.

      • 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
      • Observation: Observed 10+ flies multiple sticky fly traps attached to the ceiling throughout the facility. Several sticky traps had 10+ flies stuck to them. Highest concentration of flies were observed near the wall besides the ice machine. Assistant manager stated that there was a leak along the wall where the highest concentration of flies were noted. Plumber had repaired the leak but the flies are a result of the leak.
      • Corrective Action(s): - Ensure that fly traps are changed when necessary.
      • - Ensure that open food products are thoroughly protected from contamination
      • - Ensure that any standing water is cleaned in a timely manner.
      • - Follow up with licensed pest control company to assist in mitigating and reducing the number of flies in the facility.
      • Correction date: Immediately

      • Observation: Containers that house and store the open cups and lids were observed in an unsanitary conditions.

      • Observation: Water dripping from the ceiling at the entry of the kitchen area in front of the oven. According to operator, the water is coming from the ventilation hood line in the ceiling. Maintenance person has been called.
      • Corrective Action(s): Repair the leak as soon as possible. In meantime, ensure that there is no water pooling on the floor as this is a slipping hazard and moisture can attract potential pests.

      • Corrective Action(s): Store food products 6-inches above the ground and ensure food products are covered.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During inspetion spilled food was observed behind the shelving in the walk-in cooler, walk-in freezer, and in the back storage area.
      • Corrective Action(s): Remove the food debris, and ensure to folow your facility sanitation plan.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Buckets of sanitizer observed at 50ppm QUAT sanitizer and sanitizer water very murky.
      • Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer needs to be refreshed more frequently especially when restaurant is busy. QUAT sanitizer needs to maintain 200ppm.
      • Staff refreshed all the sanitizer buckets. QUAT sanitizer measured between 100-200ppm after refresh.
      • > Manager will get tech to service sanitizer dispenser to ensure it is dispensing at correct concentration.
