      • Observation: Food contact surface sanitizer dispenser was not dispensing the correct chemical. Chemical used was descaler, this is not an approved sanitizer. Chemical room in basement has storage of chemicals. Located QUATs sanitizer and chlorine sanitizer.
      • Corrective Action(s): Dispenser is now switched to QUATs sanitizer. This requires calibration before using. For now, use bleach. 1/2 teaspoon of bleach with 1 litre of water.

      • Observation: Minor rodent activity observed behind the two chest freezer on main floor kitchen storage area. Ripped food wrappers and rodent droppings observed behind compressor. This area requires cleaning and sanitization and replacement of rodent traps.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize noted areas with bleach. Contact pest control service to replace traps and monitor for new pest activity. Correction required in one week.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Fridge #2 ambient temperature detected at 10.9C. Temperature probe monitored this unit for over an hour and temperature stayed in the dangerzone. Probed food product sour cream at 8.2C. Temperature log was not accurate and food was in danger zone for more than 2 hours. This will result potential bacteria/pathogen growth in food stored in this unit.
      • Corrective Action(s): Discard all potentially hazardous foods stored in Fridge #2 stored in the danger zone for more than 2 hours. Do not use this fridge unit for potentially hazardous foods until it can maintain 4C and below.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One black knife in storage observed to have old food debris stuck to it. Ensure all utensils placed in storage are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before placed in storage to prevent contamination of food.

      • Observation: * The 2-door cooler in ktchen shelving has rusted and requires repair; also, there is a bucket under this cooler that was catching water that was leaking-- this cooler to be repaired and not leaking or replace it: noted that some shelving in coffee servery area was deteriorated and requires repair-- any other shelving/cupboards that have deteriorated/chipped are to be repaired too
      • Corrective Action(s): * Ensure 2-door cooler shelving repaired and not leaking-- replace it if not repairable; also, repair any shelving where deteriorated
