    • F2.1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?
      • Observation(s): • REPEAT INFRACTION: No QUAT sanitizer test strips available on-site to ensure adequate concentration of sanitizer at the back mop-sink. Corrective Action: • Ensure appropriate sanitizer test strip (i.e., QUAT) is available on-site for staff to use. Monitor the concentration of the sanitizer dispenser and spray bottles daily to ensure a minimum concentration of 200 ppm.

      • Observation(s): • Gap observed under the door of the receiving area. This is a potential point of entry of pests. Note: Pest control company conducts routine inspections. No pest activity observed at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: • Repair or replace the door sweep under the receiving area to ensure a tight seal and prevent the entry of pests.

      • Observation(s): • Sanitizer test strips could not be found at time of inspection. Have sanitizer test strips available where sanitizer solution is dispensed in the back mop sink area. Correct right away. • At the time of inspection, after 1 minute of flushing the sanitizer dispenser was not dispensing a detectable concentration of sanitizer, resulting in most of the sanitizer spray bottles having a sanitizer concentration of 0 ppm. Have the sanitizer dispenser adjusted or rep[aired so that the correct concentration of sanitizer is dispensed. Correct right away.

      • Observation(s): a) The store has had an issue with an ermine in the store; the pest control technician has set a live trap in the food area of the stock room; asst. manager (D.awn) reports that the animal has not been seen for approximately a month, but it is not confirmed that the animal has left the store. Pest control should set multiple live traps to better monitor if the animal is still in the store.
