- A microblading blade was past its expiration date. The operator discarded the expired blade. Ensure regular inventory checks of all sterile needles and blades to confirm they are within their valid expiration dates.

- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Improper tool disinfecting procedures in place. Tools are cleaned with soap, water and then put in an ultrasonic cleaner with diluted high level disinfectant (Pre-empt CS20). Tools are rinsed and sprayed with alcohol. Please follow the manufacturer instruction to disinfect tools. Follow the steps below to clean/ disinfect all semi critical tools:- Clean tools using water and detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly. - Pour high level disinfectant (example: PREempt™ CS20) directly into soaking tray. Do not dilute.- Fully immerse tools in high level disinfectant. RINSE, DRY & STORE- Rinse tools with water and dry manually using clean cloth or disposable towel. Store in a clean container marked “DISINFECTED”
