- The QUAT food safe sanitizer is noted at 0 ppm. Ensure the food safe sanitizer is at one of the following:QUAT - 200 ppm to 400 ppm.To mix a QUAT sanitizer: as per manufacturer's instructions. Bleach - 100 ppm to 200 ppm. To mix a bleach sanitizer: 1/2 tsp of bleach in 1 L of water.Iodine - 12.5 ppm to 25 ppm.To mix an iodine sanitizer: as per manufacturer's instructions. Test the sanitizer with the appropriate test strip. Public Health Inspector mixed the bleach sanitizer onsite.A link to " how to mix an approved sanitizer" will be sent via email with the report.
