      • Bowls without proper handles were being used as scoops inside rice and flour containers and were stored directly within the food ingredients. Ensure that designated scoops with handles are used and stored outside of the food containers to prevent contamination.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Only quarterly reports were made available. Operator was informed to make monthly reports in line with legislative requirements.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Food handling permit was not properly displayed.

      • The temperature of gravy and butter chicken sauce on steam units were measured at 40C. The food on the steam units were immediately reheated to at least 74C and hot held on the steam unitsEnsure hot holding temperatures of food are maintained at 60C or more.
