      • The temperature of the cooler with the chopped fruits and vegetables was 11°C. The food items were moved into the walk in cooler at the time of inspection.

      • Sanitizer is not detected in sanitizer solution used for wiping cloths. Operator is not aware of the chemical used for this solution. Operator is advised to confirm the name of the sanitizer from the supplier and ensure it is used as per recommendations and provided with a test strip to verify its concentration.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Sanitizer is not detected in dish washer. Operator is advised to repair the dishwasher so that it provides sanitizer to sanitize dishes. Operator is advised not to use dishwasher until repaired or sanitize dishes in a sanitizer solution after washing in dishwasher until it is repaired.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Test strips are not provided to test iodine in the glass washer. Operator is advised to provide test strips for iodine.

      • Coffee machine accessories were placed inside the handwashing sink. The accessories were removed during inspection.Please ensure the handwashing sink is kept free and accessible for proper handwashing.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records were not observed. A template was given to the manager during inspection. Ensure a monthly pest control is implemented and records kept for review during inspection.
    • 20. Do food handlers at the facility have adequate food safety training?
      • Food safety training certificate was not provided for a staff in care and control or managerial position.Please ensure a staff who is in care control at facility or in a management position obtains a food safety certificate. A list of approved courses will be sent with this report.
