    I can’t say enough great things about Black Sage Butcher. I’ve ordered several of their meat packages, as well as turkey and ham for family gatherings, and every experience has been outstanding. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed like family. The team is incredibly friendly, always happy to chat, and genuinely helpful. I especially appreciate how easy their online ordering is, it makes planning meals and special occasions so convenient. Their customer service truly is second to none. Pair that with the exceptional quality, flavor, and value of their products, and it’s easy to see why I keep coming back. A special shoutout to Matt, Ravina, and the rest of their amazing team, you can tell they take pride in what they do. Winning “Best Butcher in the South Okanagan” six years in a row comes as no surprise! I also love how they support and partner with local businesses, it really shows their commitment to the community. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t be disappointed!

They’ve got a great mix of local products and ready-to-go items that make it hard not to grab a few extras when you stop in. The shop’s clean, well-run, and everyone there clearly takes pride in what they do. It’s become a regular stop for me, easily one of the best parts of living in Oliver.

    What an absolutely great butcher shop! The way their meat is cut and displayed is really fantastic! It is so worth checking out! They also have a few other things for sale like spices and sauces etc., you won’t be disappointed if you stop in here.

    This year for our Thanksgiving dinner, my wife and I decided to purchase Black Sage Butcher's dinner for two. There was a turkey roll, mashed potato, stuffing, gravy, cauliflower gratin and cranberry. Cooking / reheating instructions were easy to follow and the dinner was wonderful. We did add an extra vegetable. The quantity was perfect for the two of us and we would definitely look at doing this again when we're not hosting family and/or friends. Thank you Matt and Ravina for our excellent meal!

    Oh my! Just had the cottage pie for dinner for the first time and the flavour is remarkable! We have enjoyed everything we have tried from Black Sage Butchers but some things are extra special and this is one. I also cannot get enough of the Maple Malibar pork chops. If you have not visited this lovely shop we are so fortunate to have in our town run, don’t walk there!
