      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Raw meat preparation conducted on the same preparation table as packaging of ready to eat food.
      • Corrective Action(s): Raw meat must always be separated from ready to eat products to avoid any contamination to ready to eat food. When moving from raw meat preparation to ready to eat products, always clean and sanitize food contact surfaces before and after use. Recommened reorganizing the layout of the production room to create more space and add additional preparation tables to separate various preparation/packaging of products. Operator separated raw meat preparation and ready to eat food preparation during time of inspection.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Old food debris observed on meat slicer. Equipment was last used yesterday.
      • Corrective Action(s): Meat slicer not currently in use. Staff cleaned and santized slicer during inspection. Manager indicated they will review thorough cleaning/sanitizing procedures with staff.

      • Observation: As per Drinking Water Officer, the septic system is installed within the set back distance of the well used for potable water (Sewerage System Regulation).
      • Water has been tested by Drinking Water Officer.
      • Facility has completed potable water test with Ecolab.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure the septic system is in compliance, inspected by a Professional or Authorized Person and to the compliance requirements set by the Drinking Water Officer and the Sewerage System Regulation. (2 months)
      • Send a copy of the potable water test to Langley Health Protection. (Today)
      • Ensure water is tested to the frequency set by the Drinking Water Officer. (Today)
