      • Expired antiseptic wipes were observed in first aid kits.-Please replace the antiseptic wipes and ensure the first aid kits are restocked regularly.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • Sensory bottles with multiple layers of adhesive tapes were observed in toddler classroom, making the bottles difficult to clean and sanitize.-Please seal the sensory bottles using appropriate materials, such as non-toxic glue, to ensure they can be properly cleaned and sanitized.

      • Push pins and stapled pins were observed on walls of preschool classroom.-Please remove all push pins and cover the stapled pins with appropriate material to prevent children access to hazardous objects.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • There were no paper towels available in the toddler washroom.-Please provide paper towels in the indicated washrooms to support proper hand washing practices.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Staff made very strong surface sanitizers (test strips were bleached out).-Ensure staff are provided with the correct mixing ratio (instructions in opening comments)-Ensure staff test the solutions they make-If staff are using stronger solutions, surfaces children eat from and toys they may mouth must be rinsed after using disinfectant
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Two slides >23" were observed in classrooms. They did not have open space around them in case children fell, and the tiles have not been reviewed for cushioning capacity.-Any play structures >20" must be reviewed by inspector before use-Staff removed the slides
