A true gem and arguably the most welcoming and beautiful winery in all of West Kelowna🍷🫶 The experience begins with instant aesthetic pleasure, thanks to the incredible views and a stunning, European-style interior. Beyond the gorgeous setting, you will enjoy truly delicious wines and have the unique opportunity to hear the rich history of the family winery directly from the charming founders Richard and Jitske, and the beautiful Amanda, who will tell you about the wine and offer to test it🥰🍷 This is a must-visit spot⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend coming to see for yourself🫶☀️

This place feels like going to spring in Rome or somewhere in France, very well design and authentic pragmatic finishes, and tones, I’m not even starting on the wine! Very great experience and amazing views, watching the airport and aircraft!

A magical visit from start to finish — Ancient Hill Winery delivers exceptional wines, warm, knowledgeable staff, and a stunning setting that elevates every tasting. The cellar selections showed depth and balance, with standout reds that were rich and refined and an elegant white that was beautifully expressive. The tasting flight was well-paced and informative; the owners made us feel welcome and shared genuine passion and expertise. The grounds are picturesque and perfect for a relaxed afternoon with friends or a memorable date. This place has a soul, and the wine is made with real passion and love. Highly recommend a visit — outstanding wines, attentive service, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

The winery itself is absolutely beautiful; both the view and the ambience were stunning and made for such a wonderful experience. I would love to give it a full 5 stars, but I personally didn’t enjoy their red wine as much, as I found it a little too dry for my taste. That’s just my palette though; I know plenty of people enjoy that style. I also didn’t get to stay long enough to fully experience everything they offer, but overall it was amazing and definitely worth visiting.

Our group decided to start our 3rd day of wine tour at Ancient Hill and we enjoyed the moment we stepped out of our vehicle. We’d say it was a hidden gem from the deal on wine tasting, purchasing fantastic wine and the enjoyable wine and picnic basket of cheese and crackers on their patio overlooking the vineyard with wonderful scenery. This winery reminded us of what you might find in Bordeaux wine country in France! It’s an estate winery which is likely why is so intimate! It’s a must and our favourite stop on our wine trip!! 🍷🌈👌We travelled from Alberta & likely go back for the same treat at this winery!!

I had visited this winery two years ago but the memories are still fresh . Very lovely ladies greeted us and made us taste the juiciest rose wine. Sit outdoors or taste at the bar , you will be transformed to the grapevines. Wine tasting and retail purchase is smoothly done.

I was looking for a place to enjoy wine tasting and a pleasant view, but most options required prior reservations and confirmations, and offered very long, four-hour tours—all of which would scare off someone who just wants a good glass of wine. Fortunately, we found Ancient Hill Winery. We arrived without a reservation, without any bureaucracy or complications. The service was excellent, we enjoyed the wine tasting, and afterward, we had plenty of time to take some wonderful photos because the place has been designed with European influences, and you're instantly transported to a Swiss chalet. The view from the terrace is spectacular. It's ideal if you come with your children, who can enjoy cookies and cheeses. The service was courteous and attentive. My wife was delighted because, in addition to the wine, she was able to buy some jewelry and souvenirs. I will definitely return next year.

A lovely time spent in a beautiful Old World winery filled with European antique furniture. Richard, the owner and our host, despite being busy with harvest, spent the time pouring our tastings, answering our questions, and showing us the facilities. The wine was superb and the company entertaining.
