- Due to a lack of hot water, staff are unable to perform proper hand hygiene, posing a potential contamination hazard during food handling. Ensure staff are able to perform proper hand hygiene at all times.Impacted foods were discarded by staff.

- The hot water tank is not functioning due to a leak, and potable hot water is unavailable for:-proper hand hygiene.-sanitation.-dishwashing.Ensure the hot water tank is repaired and the facility has hot and cold potable water in sufficient quantities for the facility's needs.A plumber has been contacted for repairs, the new hot water tank is to be installed on Saturday October 11, 2025.

- 1. In the emergency exit hallway and the area behind the water tank: the water from the initial leak has been cleaned up, however, parts of the floor appear stained and slightly wet. The water tank is located on the other side of the wall, as a result the water may have damaged the dry wall.1. Ensure to: -verify all impacted areas affected by the leak.-protect the kitchen from potential contamination during repairs.-dry out the impacted areas.-remove any impacted semi-porous or porous materials such as drywall.-repair the wall and floors to be smooth, durable, easily cleanable, in good repair and as per Alberta Safety Codes requirements. Should the impacted area be greater than 10 sq feet, consult with a professional remediation company.2. The three-compartment sink has a minor leak on the faucet and t -shaped connection. 2. Ensure all faucets are maintained in good repair and free of leaks.

- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- Observed a few flies inside the kitchen. Facility has in house monthly pest control monitoring program with no-fly control measures in place. Drive thru window does not have an air curtain. Only a heat lamp is installed. Ensure flies are eliminated from the kitchen. Install UV light electronic fly control device in suitable locations (where food & equipment's are not stored). Do not use bug sprays or other chemical methods. Contact third party licensed pest control service provider for other treatment options as well.
