    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Pre-Kinder - Water staining was observed on the ceiling the bathroom. Please ensure there are no active leaks and replace ceiling tiles.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) OSC - a couple of unfinished wooden tables were observed. Please ensure these items are finished, smooth and cleanable.2) Jr preschool - fridge in the jr. preschool room was monitored to be 8.1C. Please ensure the fridge is capable of maintaining <4C. Please ensure a thermometer is available to monitor temperatures.3) Toddler bathroom - the shelving unit in the toddler bathroom had exposed wood and was not smooth and cleanable. Please ensure surfacesare smooth and cleanable.

      • Toddler bathroom - Toilet paper was not observed to be located on the dispenser. Please ensure all toilet paper is located on a dispenser.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • There was an unlabeled spray bottle in the upper cupboard in the in the preschool bathroom (girls)
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • There was water staining on the ceiling tile in the third Jr. Preschool washroom. Please ensure there is no active leak and replace as necessary.The ceiling tile/fan was bowing down in the preschool girls washroom. Repair required.

      • The surface of one of the shelving units in the young toddler room was in disrepair. Please refinish(four cube shelf)

      • The bleach spray bottle labelled " infant" in the Sr. Preschool room was not spraying. Please repair or replace.The bleach solution in the infant room was measured to be less than 100ppm.

      • The water temperature at the left sink in the Jr. Preschool room was too low, measured at 12.5CThe water temperature in the Sr. Preschool room was too hot, measured to be 57.6C. Recommended maximum temperature is 49C.The water temperature in the infant room was too hot, measured to be 56.2C/56.5C. Recommended maximum temperature is 49C

      • The toilet paper holder in the boys OSC washroom was in disrepair.One paper towel dispenser in the Jr. Preschool bathroom was out of supply. Replacement required.The third washroom in the Jr. Preschool Room was out of toilet paper. Please replace.There was no paper towel at the kinder room hand sink. Please supply.There was no toilet paper holder in the children's kinder room bathroom.

      • There was no thermometer observed in the fridge in the Jr. Preschool room.Fridge temperature in the infant room (12-19 months) was monitored at 8C. Please ensure the fridge is operating at <4C.

    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Infant/Toddler Rooms:- Thumbtacks observed in use to hold up documents and materials on the wall. These are hazardous for younger children as they can have access to it if they fall on the floor
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • OSC Room- Play kitchen cup with a chipped corner was observed on the shelf. This was removed during inspection. All play equipment must be maintained in good repair at all times

      • - Used rags observed on top of bleach spray bottles. Used rags may not be re-used as it can create a risk of contamination

      • OSC Room:- Left handwashing sink with no hot water- Middle sink is clogged and preventing adequate water drainage
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Infant Room:- Children's snowsuits observed hung on hooks in contact with each other. Please ensure separation of personal items by adding additional hooks and cubby space
