- The records of the water testing and maintenance were not properly maintained. Specifically, the chemical parameters were not maintained at their required concentration/value. Also, the chemicals added, and their amount were not properly recorded. Testing of the water were also not being conducted after adding chemicals. The inspector informed the operator and the hotel manager that adequate logs and records must be maintained. Please educate all pool operators regarding this requirement.

- **ONGOING VIOLATION** The facility was missing the following policies and procedures:A. Anti-entrapment plan (Section 9.1 of the Pool Standards). *Note: this needs to be completed for each basin. REQUIREMENT: Develop the above-mentioned plans and procedures. Consult the Pool Standards/the undersigned for more information regarding what needs to be included in the plans.

- 09. Is the pool premises maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
- The basement women's changeroom had the following concerns noted:1) A substance which appeared to be mould was growing in a corner in the locker room area. No obvious signs of water moisture were noted.REQUIREMENT: Assess and clean/remove the mould. Contact a mould remediation company if not manageable. Investigate possible sources of moisture/water which allowed for the mould to grow.2) Two ceiling tiles were caved in. An active water leak was coming from the tiles.REQUIREMENT: Find the source of the leak and correct immediately. Ensure that the area is dried and well-ventilated to prevent mould growth. Discard any water damaged items.
