- Facility had pH test strips, not chlorine test strips (facility uses chlorine-based sanitizer for counters etc.). Action required: obtain chlorine test strips. Facility did not have a probe thermometer. Recommendation: acquire a min/max probe thermometer. This will allow you to monitor the temperature of your dishwasher & verify cooler temperatures if in question.
