    • 302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Pans used to cook customers' food, bubble tea shakers/blenders, and water jugs are washed and sanitized per shift, washed manually at front, or once at the end of the night, repsectively.
      • Corrective Action(s): All in use utensils/equipment (including rice scoops, spoons to make beverages, etc.) must be washed and sanitized every 4 hours.
      • Violation Score: 15
      • 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back kitchen handsink (veggie prep area) is blocked by a garbage bin.
      • Corrective Action(s): Do not block handsink at any given time as handsink must be accessible.
      • Violation Score: 5
    • 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
      • Observation: 1. Facility is using pots that cannot fit into the diswashing sinks nor dishwasher.
      • 2. Ice cream dispenser machine has been relocated to front prep area; however, to a location facing the dining area, not close to a handsink.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1. Staff indicated dishwasher will be switched in a month. If dishwasher is not installed by end of March, facility must use smaller pots. Until then, manually wash and sanitize pots.
      • 2. Ice cream dispenser should be placed where a handsink is located nearby. Relocate to another location, or turn the dispenser to face the front preparation area.

    • 205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. A container of garlic and oil, plus a container of coconut milk observed at room temperature by cook line.
      • 2. A container each of green onion and cilantro observed at room temperature by pass window.
      • Corrective Action(s): Potentially hazardous foods must be kept cold under 4oC at all times. Products all relocated to coolers.
      • Violation Score: 5
      • 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A soup spoon is observed in front handwashing station (where staff prepares beverages). In addition, a slice of lemon is observed inside the same handwashing station.
      • Corrective Action(s): Handwashing station must be clear of items at all times.
      • Violation Score: 5
    • 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
      • Observation: Ice-cream dispensing machine is relocated from its original approved location. Original approved location is inside the front preparation are where beverages are also prepared. The machine is relocated to the front dining area near the sauce bar, with no handwashing station nearby or conveniently located.
      • Corrective Action(s): Move machine back to its original location.
      • Facility can propose a new location in the future, after review and approval from Fraser Health Authority.
      • Violation Score: 5
