- -Sunshine Class (13 months to 19 months) : There was a push pin observed on the bulletin board. ** Remove the push pin and use either staples (with tape covering the staples) or other alternatives that do not present as a hazard. **This was corrected at the time of the inspection. -

- - Sunshine class: 4 small circular shaped holes in the wall were covered up by masking tape. ** Please remove the tape and properly repair the holes in the wall. Apply proper finishes so the area is made smooth and easy to clean. -

- - Children's jackets/ backpacks were hung up on hooks throughout the rooms, and they were all overlapping/ touching. ** Please ensure adequate separation for each individual child's personal items so the items are not touching. Install dividers, cubicles, space out the items, or place in larger tote bags to hang up on hooks. -

- 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
- - 1. There was a large yellow water stain observed on the ceiling near the door in the Toddler Room. ** Please investigate the source of the water and ensure that it is properly repaired. Then, remove the water-stained ceiling tile and replace with new materials. Continue to monitor for additional staining. 2. The hanging shelf holding the sleeping mats in the Pre-school room had raw unfinished wood exposed along the edge trims. **Please install a proper trim along the edge of the shelf or apply a proper finish so the surface is made smooth, non-absorbent to moisture, and easy to clean. 3. The diaper changing pad in the Toddler Room was ripped, exposing the porous padding material underneath.**Please repair or replace the changing pad so the surface is in good repair, smooth, non-absorbent to moisture, and easy to clean. -
- 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
- - 1. There was an electronic Monkey plush toy observed in the baby room. This plush toy cannot be laundered and hot air dried due to the unremovable electronic components. ** Please remove this toy from the daycare and do not bring in electronic plush toys unless the electronic components can be fully removed. ** This was corrected at the time of the inspection.2. There was an electronic red Elmo phone where 3 button batteries could be observed along the back. The battery cover did not seem properly secured in place and therefore the batteries were observed. ** Please remove this toy from the daycare as the batteries may fall out due to the cover and may present as a choking hazard.**This was corrected during the inspection.  -
- 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
- - The children handwashing sinks in the bathroom ( in between the Toddler room and Preschool room) were not supplying warm/hot water. The temperature of the water measured up to 6 degrees Celsius and was very cold. ** The left-hand sink was adjusted by the Owner and warm water was available. The right-hand sink was attempted to be adjusted but it was still only cold water being supplied.** Please repair the hand washing stations and ensure that all hand sinks have hot/cold running water available (this helps to encourage proper handwashing). -
