- Written procedures were not available for skin cleansing or accidental injuries. - 14. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Non-Critical)?
- A used single use nail file and buffer block were stored with the clean manicure items. Discarded by the operator during the inspection. Ensure items intended to be single use are discarded between use.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- A high-level disinfectant solution was not available onsite for disinfecting semi-critical esthetics tools. A high-level disinfectant must be obtained prior to offering any manicure services. The corresponding test strips must also be available to test the disinfectant solution before use and results recorded on a log sheet.
