    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • -Bingo dabbers were labelled “keep out of reach of children.” They were removed by the director at the time of inspection. Please ensure that only craft supplies labelled as “non-toxic” are used.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • -There was no hot water at the hand sink in the accessible washroom. Please repair.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • -The washroom mop sink was being used to wash toys. This is not a sanitary area to wash toys. At the time of approval the operator indicated that toys would be washed in the kitchen at the daycare next store. Please ensure that this is being done and the washroom sinks are not used for: toy washing, drinking water, rinsing dishes, sensory play etc. Alternatively, a sink can be installed in the classroom for these purposes.
