- Observation(s): Based on the information gathered during the inspection, the Licensing Officer determined that some staff Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certificates were not displayed in the facility as required. - Resolved during the inspection. During the inspection, the Licensing Officer identified that the name of the manager was not posted in the facility as required. This contravention was not listed as one of the allegations in the original complaint. - Resolved during the inspection.

- Observation(s): Licensing Officers observed that there is a tear in the diaper mats. The staff washroom door was left opened and medications were found to be accessible to children.

- C10.1 - Are children provided with a healthy and safe environment, and protected from harmful actions?
- Observation(s): Based on the information received during this inspection, Licensing has determined that children in care were being offered food as a reward for appropriate behaviour. The manager informed Licensing that this practice was implemented by the program staff in order to be consistent with how parents were rewarding their child at home. However, once this practice was brought to the manager's attention, the staff were informed that this was not permitted and was a contravention to Section 48 (7) - Nutrition - of the CCLR. This practice was immediately stopped and the food used for reward has since been removed from the program room. - Resolved. Additional allegations received included concerns that the children were not being continuously supervised by staff, especially during outside play. Based on the observations made during this inspection, Licensing was unable to substantiate these concerns.
