      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff stated that they conduct manual ware washing by washing, rinsing, and drying with a cloth. Sanitizing step is missing.
      • Corrective Action(s): Instructed staff to create a food contact surface sanitizer in one compartment of the sink that registered at 100 ppm chlorine. Note: 2 ml of chlorine is mixed with 1 L water to make a 100 ppm chlorine solution.
      • After washing and rinsing dishes and equipment, ensure that equipment is fully submerged in the sanitizing solution for a minimum 2 minutes and then air dried.
      • All dishes that were washed and rinsed today are to be washed, rinsed, sanitized, and air dried again.

    • 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
      • Observation: Observed a reduction in flys near the two compartment sink. The overall sanitation of this area as improved.
      • Corrective Action(s): Continue with daily cleaning and sanitation of this area and the facility to help reduce and mitigate the number of pests in the facility. Continue with pest management program.
      • Recommendation: Contact licensed pest control company for additional assistance in reducing and mitigating pest concerns.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No food contact surface sanitizer was created at the time of inspection
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff created a new food contact surface sanitizer that registered at 100 ppm chlorine. Note: mix 2 ml of bleach solution (1 cap) with 1 L water to make 100 ppm chlorine solution.
      • Violation Score: 5
      • 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation: 1) Handwashing station located near the front area was not supplied with soap at the start of the inspection. Staff stated that a work order is in place to fix the wall-mounted soap dispenser and that it will be repaired today.
      • 2) Handle of the front handwashing station is in not good work, unable to turn on water from the handle.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Corrected during the inspection: A soap dispenser was placed at the handwashing station. Ensure that the wall-mounted soap dispenser is fixed and supplied with soap.
      • 2) Repair the handle of the handwashing station such that it can adequately dispense water from the handwashing station.
      • Correction date: Immediately.

      • Observation: 10+ flies noted near the two compartment sink.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure that adequate sanitation of the two compartment sink occurs on a daily basis.
      • Follow pest control management plan to help reduce the number of flies in the facility.
      • Recommendation: contact a licensed pest control company to help reduce and mitigate pests in the facility.

      • 307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Use of cardboard as a liner was observed throughout the inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff discarded cardboard from facility. Ensure that liner material is easily cleanable, non absorbent, impervious to moisture.
