      • Observation: Moderate population of fruit flies observed in and around the dishwash space and general area. Multiple sticky traps, including hanging tape in this area. No difinitive source found, but the flies are most notable in the mop sink cubby. This is possibly due to mops hang drying here. No visible signs of moisture build up and the drains look ok. Staff target mop sink dish sinks with vinegar. Storage space is well organized and clean.
      • **Flies may be coming from the floor drain as the vertical line is quite long and it may be the main horizontal line is a fruit fly source.
      • Corrective Action(s): Remove the sticky tape from above storage area as discussed. Limited use may be ok in the mop cubby as a tool to reduce adult population, but as a general rule sticky tape is not allowed.
      • Try taping over the floor drain in conjunction with fruit fly population control.
      • Continue applying chemicals or similar to drains as breeding deterent.
