      • Received water sample results for the pool indicating a heterotrophic plate count (HPC) of >57,000 CFU/mL.Discussed the results with CPO Hugh. Hugh had already received the laboratory report, closed the pool, and begun superchlorinating the pool(at 30ppm) in response to the elevated HPC result.Will finish shocking/cleaning and resample next week (week starting July 27th).

      • Alkalinity was measured at 30 ppm.The pool operator corrected the alkalinity during the inspection by adding alkalinity increaser. After allowing the water to circulate and mix, the alkalinity was remeasured at 61 ppm.Combined chlorine was measured at 0.10 ppm.
