      • Observation: - Moderate volume of mouse droppings noted on floor behind and around equipment. Droppings also noted on some of the secondary shelves under the counters.
      • - Cobwebs and dust accumulation also noted in some of the same locations.
      • - Gap around electrical conduit behind upright cooler in back area could be used by mice. Other access points may be present in kitchen.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) The kitchen floor, especially under, behind and around legs of equipment is in need of a good cleaning to allow pest control technician to better evaluate patterns of mouse activity for trapping and exclusion, and to reduce any food availability for these mice.
      • 2) Secondary shelves where droppings evident need to be cleaned and sanitized to reduce risk of contamination.
      • 3) Have the kitchen space avaluated for mouse access points and block off.

      • Observation: Mouse droppings observed in some of the corners and along walls in kitchen. Several of the snap traps not set and/or placed properly. I may see some entry/access activity around electrical conduits into wall behind dishwasher. Definite chewed hole at edge of rubber baseboard behind oven area.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean up the droppings, reset traps and block access points. Get maintenance in to begin an active monitoring and control program again.

      • Observation: Mouse activity noted in multiple areas of kitchen. Snap traps set in multiple areas of kitchen. One mouse observed in trap.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean and remove all mouse droppings from kitchen floor, including those hard to reach areas behind shelves, dishwasher and grill. Identify points of entry (chewed baseboards or insulation or other) and block off accordingly and with assistance of Pest Control Tech. if necessary.

      • Observation: Mouse activity noted in kitchen. Droppings noted behind grill/oven and lower shelves in that area; Also noted in concentration below food storage shelves in the back of kitchen. Insulation pieces also noted behind cookline. Most activity noted in hard to reach areas of floor and around legs of equipment. Difficult to determine active activity or artifact of past.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean up all parts of the floor in kitchen. Clean shelves along front counter and corner. Monitor for more mouse activity and call in professional Pest Control if needed to eliminate activity from kitchen.

      • Observation: Upright Freezer condenser line not draining properly causing defrosted water to drip onto packages of food and to accumulate on the base cavity of unit.
      • Corrective Action(s): Call technician to fix problem. As interim measure remove all food from the lowest part of unit to limit food from exposure to this water/ice build up.
      • **Probably best to move the food during this defrost cycle and keep food away from drips.
