      • There were no test strips/equipment to measure the concentration of the disinfectant being used in the facility.Please ensure that operators are provided with the appropriate testing equipment/strips to measure the concentration of the disinfectant.

Sanitizers in a child-care facility must have a drug identification number (DIN) and be classified as a disinfectant by Health Canada (HC). Sanitizers in a child-care facility must be classified as a food contact surface disinfectant.Please ensure that the facility is provided with an approved sanitizer.
