      • A floor tile was observed to be in disrepair in the Preschool 2 room beneath the window located on the front of the facility. Ensure the indicated tile is repaired to be smooth and easy to clean.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • A buildup of grime was observed on the top exterior surface of the sensory table in the Preschool 1 room. Please ensure the indicated area is cleaned and sanitized.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Children's personal items such as lotions and Vaseline were observed to be stored in-contact with one another. Please ensure children's personal items are stored separately to help prevent cross-contamination.

      • A bottle of Pine-sol labelled "please keep out of reach of children" was observed to be store in an unlocked cabinet in the washroom closest to the rear exit door. Please ensure all chemicals are stored in a place inaccessible to children. The operator relocated the indicated chemical during the inspection.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Paint labeled for ages 5+ was observed in the Preschool 2 room, where children are under age 5. Paint labeled for ages 3+ was also observed in the toddler room, where children are under age 3. Please ensure that all art materials are age‑appropriate for the children in each room. The operator relocated the identified paints during the inspection.

    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • The handwashing sink in the washroom closest to the rear exit door was observed without cold water available. Please ensure handwashing sinks are maintained with a supply of hot and cold or premixed warm water at all times. The operator turned on the cold water from beneath the sink during the inspection.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • A buildup of grime was observed on the top exterior surface of the sensory table in the Preschool 1 room. Please ensure the indicated area is cleaned and sanitized.

      • 1. Paint was peeling/chipped off the walls in hallway and Preschool room. Please repair affected areas.2. Ceiling tiles were water-damaged/stained in the hallway near Toddler room. Please investigate and remove the source of water infiltration and replace affected tiles.

      • Antiseptic wipes in the first aid kit expired in September 2023. Replace antiseptic wipes.
