    • 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
      • Observation: -Mice droppings present in small amounts in several areas in kitchen including under dishwashing area, in back storage area,in far right area beside walk in cooler. No pest control company is currently providing service to the restaurant
      • Corrective Action(s): -Obtain a professional pest control service to provide monthly service by June 25, 2025. Email a copy of the service contract to me by June 25. For mice droppings, it's important that proper protective equipment is used by staff when cleaning them up. WorksafeBC has information on safe cleaning of rodent issues, which includes proper mask, gloves, and high level of bleach sanitizer (1 capful per litre of water). Pour sanitizer on the droppings and after 10 minutes, wipe them up. Do NOT sweep or vaccuum droppings. Each day before using the kitchen, all food contact surfaces must be sanitized using your regular sanitizer before use. Ensure all foods at night are stored in sealed containers or in the walk in storage area that has a sealed door.

      • Observation: -Roof panel drop down ceiling coating is peeling off above kitchen prep/deep frier area. The coating on several panel covers is coming completely off.
      • Corrective Action(s): -Replace these roof panels to allow for easy cleaning, and to prevent the coating from falling down in to the food area or in to the deep fryer. Date to be corrected by: June 25, 2025
