      • 4) New food containers (without lid) stored directly on shelf with opening side down.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Eggs moved to bottom shelf. Always store raw foods on the bottom to prevent cross contamination.
      • 2) Transfer sugar into a pest proof container.
      • 3) Remove all bowls. Obtain a scoop with handle.
      • 4) Store new food containers in a sanitary manner (eg. in a clean bag, with the lid on)

      • Corrective Action(s): Thorough cleaning of droppings is needed (see other code for information), Remove any items not required for operation. Each day before opening, all tables and food contact surfaces must be sanitized using your bleach sanitizer before using. Send pest control report today.

      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all droppings are properly sanitized (1000ppm chlorine bleach- 1 capful of bleach per litre of water). Do not sweep or vaccum droppings. Worksafe B.C has information on safe cleaning up of rodent droppings, which includes proper mask, gloves, and use of sanitizer. Follow direction from pest control company.
