    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation:
      • Connection leaking between the dishwasher's black drain tube and the copper drain pipe. Water is pooling on the floor and creating a source of water to breed pests (flies and rodents).
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Repair the connection so water no longer leaks and pools on the floor.

    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation:
      • Buckets of chemicals are being stored on the floor. The floor is unable to be properly cleaned. All items shall be stored at least 6" off the floor.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Install another shelf to the wire rack, across from the dishwasher, so the buckets of chemicals can be stored off the floor. Ensure the shelf is at least 6" off the floor so brooms and mops can get under and clean the floor.
      • **Correction date: Sept-25-25**

      • 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
      • Observation:
      • 1) The floor in the back, dry storage area, is STILL not sealed and easily cleanable. This was required to be addressed last year.
      • 2) The waste pipe for the dishwasher is draining into a floor drain. Very hot water (above 180F) is pooling on the floor, which could burn staff or clients working in the kitchen.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • 1) Repaint the floor in the back, dry storage area, so it is durable, smooth, sealed and cleanable. Highly recommend using an epoxy paint as it is very durable and cleanable.
      • **Correction date: Mar-1-26**
      • 2) Install the waste pipe for the dishwasher so it directly drains into a sanitary pipe or waste pipe, and it doesn't pool on the floor.
